We're into Autumn now and only one event to go after a full calendar of events - a programme only marred by the cancellation of the barbecue due to rain. Hope to see you at the Christmas drinks do. And we have two events for next year already.

Events before 2009 have now been archived.

2012 Programme
Thursday 2nd February
Presentation by Roger Umpelby: 02 February 2012 at 20:00 in the Sub-Aqua Club - click here for more details...
This promises to be a fascinating evening on pests and diseases and how to manage them. Roger is a professional entomologist who has worked at Rothamsted and is currently a part time adviser to the RHS and lecturer at Pershore College.

The CNAA are delighted to host a presentation by Roger Umpelby on Thursday 02 February 2012 about allotment friends and foes, which will look at some of the alternatives that are open to us all. This talk promises to be extremely interesting and informative to all allotment holders and those who are interested in growing, whether recently starting or those with years of experience.

Roger is a well practiced presenter with many years spent travelling all over the country giving a variety of talks to gardening clubs, RHS conferences and lectures at horticultural collages.

The talk on 02 February has been specially tailored to St Albans, drawing on Roger local growing and professional experience. There will also be a Q&A session at the end if you have any thing you would like to ask.

We look forward to welcoming you all from 7:30pm (doors open) at the Sub aqua club on Cottonmill Lane. The talk starts prompt at 8pm and places are numbered. If you would like to reserve a seat then please contact Paul via email on paulump@yahoo.com
