Annual Summer Show 2011

Weird. Just plain weird. I went to the St. Albans Sub-Aqua Club and it was weird.

Firstly, lots of tables with nothing on them.

Then people turned up and started bending over...

And then they started putting vegetables on the tables... Very carefully. Whilst they were bending over.

The bending was obviously very tiring and so they sat down.

And then the room emptied, and only four were allowed to enter the room full of tables and vegetables.

Then the doors were firmly closed.

And that brought on hunger and thirst....

Suddenly the doors were thrown open, and we rejoiced to see the vegetables again.

And there were loads of category prize winners. And the winners were announced. Paul Ellis was third on 15 points, Howard Artiss was second with 17 points (I don't have pictures of everybody as my camera is too slow)... And the winner was . . .

After missing a podium place last year by ONE point, the well deserved winner was our former chairman, Hazel Ann Marsden with 18 points.

And then they took their vegetables away. As I said at the beginning...
